On 23 May, Stockholm Region EU Office in collaboration with Fordonsdalen (“vehicle valley”) organised a breakfast seminar on innovation and skills for a sustainable transport system from a regional perspective, connecting both to the overall goal of making the European transport system greener and more digital as well as the European Year of Skills. The breakfast seminar is the third seminar that we organise during the spring in connection to the Swedish presidency in the Council of the European Union.
On the 3rd of March the Stockholm Region EU Office organised the first session of the year addressing the revision of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive. Since the autumn of 2021, the Stockholm Region's European office has been organizing a series of shorter sessions under the slogan Stockholm EU Sessions. These short sessions will be devoted to current issues and initiatives happening in the EU's political arena with a special connection to the Stockholm region.
The 7th of march, Stockholm Region EU Office in collaboration with EIT Health Scandinavia, hosted a breakfast seminar focusing on health data, in particular on Stockholm’s Center for Health Data and the benefits as well as joint challenges of sharing health data on a national and local level. The invited speaker was Dr Clara Hellner, Director for Research and Innovation at Stockholm Region, and the following discussion was moderated by Dr Monica Åberg Yngwe, Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations Lead at EIT Heath Scandinavia.
Universitetsalliansen Stockholm trio är ett samarbete mellan Karolinska Institutet, KTH och Stockholms universitet. Alliansens mål är att utveckla och lyfta fram den internationellt framstående forsknings- och utbildningsmiljö som de tre universiteten bildar i Stockholmsregionen. Sedan 2020 finns representation på plats i Bryssel.
