As a proud part of the the New European Bauhaus Festival, Stockholm Region EU Office presents the official side event together with the Stockholm Green Innovation District (SGID): "How to shape a sustainable and inclusive city district with innovative and climate neutral solutions by and for citizens". The seminar will include a networking lunch. Most welcome!

The seminar

The lunch seminar will be hosted as a hybrid event in Brussels at Stockholm Region EU Office venue, connecting to the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Festival theme; Fostering long term, life cycle and integrated thinking in the industrial ecosystem.

SGID is a proud contributor to making the city of Stockholm a candidate to become one of EU:s 100 climate neutral cities. The objective of the seminar is to promote the NEB values – beautiful, sustainable, together. This will be done by showcasing how the SGID’s five districts are transforming in regard to energy, water, waste, mobility and citizens engagement.

The lunch seminar aims to share challenges, experiences and best practices on how to shape a sustainable and inclusive city district, with innovative and climate neutral solutions by and for citizens. Speakers include the founder SGID initiative Mr Allan Larsson, a former member of the EU Mission Board on Smart and Climate Neutral Cities and Helena Bjarnegård, National architect at the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning which is the national contact point for the New European Bauhaus Initiative in Sweden and representatives from the SGID.
